How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate the Site and produce the magazines, such as hosting and email services. These providers are contractually required to keep your information secure and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Published listings display the information you submit (such as the event name, description, contact details and website) so that readers can find and attend activities. Please only include information you are happy to be made public.
How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Listing submissions are typically retained while the listing remains current and for a reasonable period afterwards for administrative purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your rights” below).
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in if you have an editor/admin account, and to ensure the Site functions correctly. These are necessary for the operation of the Site.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate controls.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to request a copy of your information in a structured, commonly used format.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at a5magazines@outlook.com. We will respond within one month, or longer for complex requests, in accordance with UK GDPR time limits.
